In fact there are two good reasons not to post daily: 1) You will burn out, and 2) You will burn your readers out. For a blog with multiple contributors, the "sweet spot" is two to three times a week, but mainly two unless you have a series to finish or something timely to say. A writer-blogger I know points out that every x number of posts is a novel unwritten, so she needs to make sure her blog is enjoyable to write and reaches the audience she wants to reach.
